Confide in Me
by Kylie Minogue
‘Kylie’ being the Aboriginal word for ‘boomerang’. But then we all knew that, didn’t we?
After tumbling out of suburban Melbourne and skidding like a hamstrung deer across a Stock, Aitken and Waterman branded ice rink for a few years, this song always makes me think of the transition to what we all know and love: Kylie – hotpants edition.
Sure, we had to stumble over some Manic-shaped Indie rocks to get there, but once the 21st century hit, it was all over. And considering she’s over fifty years of age, thems is some age defying hotpantses.
Font fans might recognise the smaller of the two here as the ‘suggestive’ one from the promo video.
