Shouting what?!

For a band so associated with – let’s be honest – drugs, it’s weird that Underworld’s most well known song would contain anthemic chanting about beer.

The relationship between this song and Trainspotting lends obvious reference to heroin, but I’ve personally seen people off their mash, dancing maniacally to Underworld in a field in Brighton for three hours solid – they categorically weren’t using the horse, I can tell you that.

Personally, I wasn’t doing that. I was hitting the old lager, lager, lager. People on drugs are hilariously funny when you’ve been drinking. And vice versa.

To conclude: sobriety – society’s true enemy.
