We’ve come a long way from ‘Achy Breaky Heart’, haven’t we? I can’t comprehend being a household name at the best of times, let alone Hannah Montana levels. I don’t even know what that is, if I’m being honest. It just makes me think of Montana the state, where nothing happens. You can’t argue with Black Mirror, though.
I can’t help but think that the video detracts from the song somewhat. It’s technically not my bag (the song, I mean), but if you *just* read the words, it seems very heartfelt. So a young woman swinging around on an actual wrecking ball in slow motion is a bit of a ridiculous addition. And licking a sledgehammer for some reason. Let’s not forget that.
The design is the fonts and colours of good old JCB. I wasn’t even aware they’d changed their logo. I couldn’t tell you the last time I even saw one. Hopefully they’re not extinct. That would be awful.
