Hip-hop songs are always tough because they’re so dense – lots of stuff going on and once you even process it, it’s done. I feel like I’ve done alright with this one. Sure. The lad from southern England. Deffo got a real handle on the Zapatista movement.
Design-wise I’ve gone with sun tan lotion, for fairly obvious reasons. And then the red-on-black alternative version makes sense if you’ve ever seen the EZLN flag.
For the record, the first time I saw RatM was in 1993. The second in 2008. Both times furious, both times at Reading, both times a totally terrifying crush of bodies.
Absolutely brilliant.
